Pink mojitos take everything you love about a classic mojito: the rum, lime, mint, and fizz; and make it even better! The strawberries add a fruitiness that brings this summer drink to the next level without making it too sweet. For the white rum, don’t worry about getting the most expensive one out there, as it generally has a lighter and sweeter flavor across the board.

This mojito mixture can be prepared ahead of time, making it a convenient option for hosting company. After all, nothing says “summer” quite like sipping on a delicious cocktail at a sunny get together with friends!

Notes & Tips

Substitutions

Rum: Any white rum will work here. Avoid using spiced rum as it can mess up the flavor of the mojito.

Alcohol: You can make a virgin mojito by removing the rum and adding more ginger ale/club soda.

Ginger Ale: The ginger ale adds sugar and flavor to the drink, but if you’re looking for more of a traditional mojito you can use club soda. I only suggest adding ½ cup of granulated sugar to the pitcher and stirring until dissolved.

How to Store Pink Mojitos

To make this recipe ahead of time, add all of the ingredients except the ginger ale to the pitcher. Let it chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or up to 2 days. When you’re ready to serve, add the ginger ale to the pitcher, stir, and enjoy.
