When the days get hot, there is nothing better than an ice cold drink to help you cool down. The daiquiri is a classic cocktail that has been done many different ways over the years, but always uses rum as the alcoholic base. Typically it will be paired with some sort of fruit and sweetener to provide a thoroughly refreshing experience.
Something unique about adding raspberry to this recipe is that it provides a bit more tartness than, say, a strawberry version. This is especially tasty for those who want extra flavor without it becoming too sweet! Not to mention it is incredibly easy to put together.

Substitutions For Raspberry Daiquiri
- Raspberry Jam: If you don’t have raspberry jam, you can use 3 tablespoons of honey, agave nectar, or simple syrup.
- Lime Wedges: Traditional daiquiris are made with lime, however you can also use lemon juice and lemon wedges instead using the same ratios.
- Triple Sec: Cointreau may be used in place of triple sec.
- Rum: Using spiced rum adds some extra depth of flavor to this drink, however regular white rum will also work.
